Recommended mods

The server is set up for these. Easiest way: install the Modrinth App, create a Fabric profile for Minecraft 26.3 (the server's version), then search for each mod and click Install.

Simple Voice Chat

Proximity voice: you hear people within about 48 blocks, quieter the farther away they are. Press V in game for settings and push-to-talk.

Distant Horizons

See terrain far past normal render distance. The server streams far-away land to you, so mountains on the horizon are really there. Needs a decent graphics card.

Handy commands

Everyone can use these from their first join.

Homes

/sethome name/home name/delhome name

Save up to 3 homes and teleport back any time.

Warps

/warp/warp name

Jump to shared spots like the farms. /warp on its own lists them.

Teleport to friends

/tpa player/tpaccept/back

Ask to teleport to someone; they accept. /back returns you to where you were.

Skip the night

/goodnight/gn

Vote to skip to morning. Two-thirds of online players need to vote.

Vein mining

Sneak + mine

Hold sneak while breaking ore, logs and similar blocks with the right tool to break the whole vein, up to 64 blocks.

mcMMO skills

/mcstats/mctop/mining

Level up skills like mining, woodcutting and fishing. See your levels, the leaderboard, or a guide for any skill.

Messages

/msg player/r/mail send player/ignore player

Private message someone and reply to the last one. Mail reaches people who are offline; ignore hides someone's messages.

Open your ender chest or a crafting table anywhere, wear the block in your hand, or mark yourself away.

Player ranks

Everyone starts as a Member. Trusted is handed out at Owner's discretion and keeps everything a Member has.

Member

Every whitelisted player, from day one. All the commands above, plus:

/tpahere player/tpdeny/tpacancel/list/rules/me

Voice chat, including group chats.

Trusted

Everything a Member has, plus:

/fly/tp player/heal/repair/repair all/gamemode survival/gamemode spectator

Teleport straight to someone without asking, and look around in spectator mode.

The rules

Build away from spawn. Spawn is protected: you can explore, use doors and sleep there, but you can't build, open chests or start fires. The protected area runs between x:-232 z:-420 and x:669 z:420; build outside it. From the spawn point that's about 250 blocks west, 400 north, 450 south or 650 east. There are a couple of other protected builds out east too; if blocks won't place, keep moving.

Be decent

No harassment, slurs or drama. It's a server for friends.

No griefing

Don't break, take from or mess with builds that aren't yours.

No cheats

No x-ray, fly or combat hacks. Performance mods and minimaps are fine.

Keep it running

No lag machines or huge mob farms. Ask first if you're not sure.
